TUA Outreach

“Life is about loving one another and taking care of each other; if we lose sight of this, all hope is lost.”

In the past few years, The Urban Advocate has been quietly involved with various philanthropic efforts.  Whether passing out meals to the homeless and needy on Thanksgiving, to donating books to children’s drives, The Urban Advocate has remained dedicated to giving back to the community.

The Urban Advocate has worked with a number of associates to help organize, promote and take part in a number of charitable events and drives around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  In December of 2009, The Urban Advocate joined the RKN Internet Radio Network in collecting Toys and other necessary items for the Buckner Children’s Home.  Then after the earthquake rocked the island of Haiti, we connected again to help collect money to send to those affected by the disaster, with the “To Haiti with Love, Dallas Benefit Concerts.”  The Urban Advocate also took part in the “Texans for Haiti” benefit as well.

TUA Outreach is our program designed motivated help those who are less fortunate and charitable efforts we believe in.  As The Urban Advocate grows, we will be building own charity and will be putting together our own benefits.  But for the time being, we will be working with some charities around the Metroplex and ask you to consider helping/volunteering with any of these efforts.   We will be updating this page as often as we can as the need for aid never ceases.
