Bio

In this day and age, it’s very seldom you come across an artist that embodies what it means to be an emcee. The lyrics, the flow, the voice, the charisma, the stage presence, etc…few rappers in this generation possess the entire package. Well, the constituents have spoken and elected a worthy leader. The votes are in; and Big Suave, “The Mayor of Oak Cliff, TX” is the lead official in the new “High Council of Hip-Hop”.

As one of the founding members of the Dallas Zu, the Dallas bred lyricist has been demolishing the underground rap scene with his witty wordplay and hard-hitting punch lines since 2003. Big Suave began his campaign trail with the release of classic mixtapes such as Underground Terrorist, Repeat Offender, Grand Theft Auto and Spare Change. Over the next few years, Big Suave has been able to construct an unbelievable resume, appearing on well over 5 dozen mixtapes, garnering a tremendous amount of DJ’s and artists alike, and was hailed “The Future of the New South” by DJ Chuck T. But, while other artists would simply stop there or fall off, Big Suave continued to stand firm in his position of power. When Big Suave joins forces with Young Don, “The Pride of the Projects”, the two form the explosive tag-team, Dirty Rotten Skoundrelz; the duo have released an impressive string of projects including School 4 Skoundrelz, Socially Irresponsible, and most recently the earth-shattering Zombieland. In 2011, Big Suave has shown no signs of fatigue, continuing to match insurmountable talent with and an incredible work ethic. Big Suave also founded his own apparel line, City Council Clothing. And as he maintains his presence on the mixtape circuit (most recently releasing Campaign Trail 1.75 and Campaign Radio), Big Suave has been taking over the internet as an on-air personality at RKN Internet Radio Network (www.rakoonation.com) and as the host of the web series Fresh Files (www.theurbanadvocate.com). And as he prepares the release of his EP series entitled, Mayor Muzik, Big Suave has been giving listeners a weekly dose of hot music, dropping a new track every week on what has been dubbed, “Mayor Muzik Mondays”.

The Mayor is on a mission; with a great amount of support on his campaign trail, Big Suave refuses to lose his seat to sub par rappers flooding the music game right now.  He is the personification of an emcee. And I’m sure the constituents would agree, there isn’t a more deserving candidate for Hip Hop supremacy.
